[SYNOPSIS]

Bath City Farm is a 37-acre charity site on the edge of Bath, running social projects with people with additional needs, using the land, horticulture, animal care and conservation activities. Through a partnership with Forest of Avon, they planted over 200 fruit and nut trees — growing food for local communities, establishing key pollinator habitats, and giving visitors hands-on experience of planting.

[TRANSCRIPT]

"Working with Forest of Avon has been really impactful. We've managed to plant over 200 trees — fruit trees and nut trees — growing food for local communities and establishing key pollinator habitats.

I put mulberries in, because I think everyone should have the experience of picking a mulberry and getting stained fingertips. It's a flavour like no other.

Planting the trees is such a lovely process to do with members of the public. People just loved it."
